Who should apply and when?

• It’s never too early to get in touch and submit an application!
• Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
• Application deadline is January 15 prior to the start of the academic year.
• Admissions announcements are made in March and April.
• Priority is extended to current Little Tiger and Chinese with Meggie families.

Pre-K and Kinder Applicants

• Tiger Cub children should turn 2 years old on or before September 1 of their first year.
• Pre-K students should turn 3 years old on or before September 1 of their first year.
• Pre-K and Kinder students are not expected to have any prior Chinese exposure.

Elementary Applicants

• Elementary enrollment is open to 1st through 5th Grade students.
• Elementary applicants must have sufficiently strong Chinese language skills to adapt to an advanced immersion environment.

Acceptance and Registration

1. Notification.
   After reviewing your family’s application, we will notify you of your child’s acceptance status. Admissions decisions for the following academic year are typically made in February and March. Children who cannot be accommodated are placed on a prospective student waiting list and notified when an opening becomes available.
2. Submit registration forms.
   Families who accept an admissions offer receive a registration package. Parents must complete and return all forms. All required registration forms and fees must be submitted to secure your child’s spot.
3. Welcome!
   After completing the registration process, we will provide a welcome package, including our Parents’ Handbook, school calendar, and other materials. We look forward to welcoming you to the Little Tiger community!
