Health & Safety
Following a brief period of online learning in March 2020, Little Tiger reopened to in-person learning for the Fall 2020 semester with extensive Covid-19 risk reduction strategies in place. These layered measures were based on the guidance of medical experts and publications such as Harvard University’s “Schools for Health: Risk Reduction Strategies for Reopening Schools.”
By adhering to the guidance of experts and collaborating closely with our parent community, Little Tiger has operated in-person and at full capacity since August 2020, fulfilling students’ educational needs while also prioritizing the health and safety of everyone in our community.
The school’s approach has evolved to reflect the various phases of the covid-19 pandemic. During the most challenging periods, the school relied on the following to providing a safe and uninterrupted learning experience for students.
- Rapid antigen testing
- Ventilation (open doors + windows)
- HEPA air cleaners in every classroom
- CO2 monitoring of indoor air
- Outdoor learning
- Daily cleaning + disinfecting
