Health, Safety, and Covid-19

Following a brief period of online learning, Little Tiger reopened to in-person learning for the Fall 2020 semester with extensive Covid-19 risk reduction strategies in place. These layered measures were based on the guidance of medical experts and publications such as Harvard University’s “Schools for Health: Risk Reduction Strategies for Reopening Schools.”

By adhering to the guidance of experts and collaborating closely with our parent community, Little Tiger has operated in-person and at full capacity since Fall 2020, fulfilling students’ educational needs while also prioritizing the health and safety of everyone in our community.

Current Safety Measures

As the pandemic has entered new phases, our approach has evolved incrementally to reflect those changes. Our current approach, as of the start of the 2022-23 school year, emphasizes the following:

  • Optional masking
  • Regular rapid antigen testing
  • Classroom ventilation (open doors + windows)
  • CO2 monitoring of indoor air
  • Two HEPA air cleaners per classroom
  • Outdoor learning
  • Daily cleaning + disinfecting
